Writing the Story

Writing the Story is the 3rd Module in the series Fiction Writers WorkBook. The first 2 Modules dealt with Creating Characters and Plots & Tension.

This Module deals with writing the first draft, chapters, voice, setting, style, the short story and rewriting. Language usage deals with narrative and dialogue, active and passive voice and figurative language. To find clarity in writing the Fog Index is explained.

Throughout the book there are many exercises in the taught concepts to aid in reinforcing learning.

A short story of merit should have been completed by the end of this module if all the teachings has been heeded.

Writing the Story

This is Module 3 in the Fiction Writing Workbook Series.

It just requires the hyperlinks and Table of Contents and it will be ready to go.

This module covers the actual writing and rewriting of stories, a section on language usage, applying Fog Index method  for clarity in writing and an Appendix with creativity stimulating exercises.

The next module will be Grammar and Punctuation.

These workbooks are part of a complete book called Create and Craft Tall Stories which was progressive work over several years as  I expanded notes I gave to students in Creative Writing classes. I am adapting this to a series of eBooks.
